About Reina

For as long as memory serves, Reina has been performing on stage. She learned Bharatanatyam, a south Indian classical dance form, for 6 years and performed in many dance productions. Reina discovered her love for acting while quarantining over the pandemic, when she watched as many musicals as she could online. From there, she progressively signed on for voice, jazz, hip hop, and acting lessons.

After she got a lead role in her very first musical, Fiddler on the Roof JR, she never looked back. She is now working to broaden her horizons through community theater, and on-camera, commercial and print work.

Reina truly appreciates the opportunities she has received, and believes in giving back. She acted in and was Assistant Director for performances by G.I.F.T. Theatre Company at health care centers and assisted living facilities, bringing theatre to those who cannot go see it. She now serves as VP of Outreach and is a Board member of G.I.F.T. Theatre Company. Reina also assisted at Peninsula Youth Theatre’s summer theatre camps for young kids.

Reina played badminton, traveling the country to compete in tournaments for 5 years before the pandemic hit. You can now find her in the gym working out to stay fit and strong, or doing brush calligraphy in her pastime.
